MCBAIN — Jerry Lee Coulter, of McBain, passed away at Autumnwood of McBain on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He was 66.
He was born on November 26, 1946, to Charles and Clara (Chase) Coulter in Wayne County, Mich.
Jerry had done landscaping for the county road commissions, worked in numerous factories and had worked building silos. He enjoyed fishing and panning for gold. It was special to him when he was able to go to the coffee shop in town and visit with the patrons.
He is survived by his special companion, Dolores Minzey of McBain and her family, which consists of three children, Gary (Kathy) Quibell of Mussel Shoals, Ala., Lorene Quibell of Jackson, and Liza Quibell of Belleville. Dolores has eight grandchildren. Jerry is survived by one sister, Tripta Chaudry of Ionia, one uncle, Harvey (Aggie) Chase of Farwell, and an aunt, Louise Connars of Negaunee. Many other relatives also survive.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain, Keith D. Burkholder, director, 211 N. Pine St., McBain. The Rev. Gary Coleman will officiate and burial will be in Mount Cemetery at McBain. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August, 23, 2013, at the funeral home.
