Jack Harrison, age 88, of Little Valley, New York, passed away on April 28, 2019. He was born in Detroit on January 27, 1931 to Winifred and Jesse (Comack) Harrison. He married Billie Jean Mongold on May 21, 1955 in Dearborn and she preceded him in death on March 18, 2013. He was a machinist while working in Detroit and worked for the Ohio Railroad for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting in the Upper Peninsula, and gardening. He is survived by three children, Christie McComber of Auburndale, Florida, Cheryl (Wil) Hoitenga of LeRoy, and Carla (Greg) Watts of Livingston, Texas. A son in law Marshall LeClerc of Little Valley, New York also is surviving along with six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Cindy LeClerc, Sisters, Gladys, Lucy, Marcel, brother, Charles, and 2 step brothers, Elmer and Delmar.
Funeral services will be held on Saturaday at 2:00 P.M. at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain with Rev. Steve Tschannen officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cadillac. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain.
